A conscious entrepreneur is someone who runs a business with awareness: of their own inner life, of the people they serve, and of the impact their work has on the world. MiraclesFor.me exists for one group of them in particular. We help conscious entrepreneurs with adverse childhood experiences get out of their own way and release their brakes — so they can multiply their income and magnify their impact.
This page explains what conscious entrepreneurship means, who we serve and why, the belief underneath all of our work, and where to start if this sounds like you.
What is a conscious entrepreneur?
There are many definitions. The phrase “conscious capitalism” was made popular by John Mackey and Raj Sisodia in their book Conscious Capitalism, which argues that business can serve a higher purpose and all its stakeholders, not just profit.
We use “conscious entrepreneur” in a more personal way. A conscious entrepreneur is aware, intentional and on a path of growth. Their business is an expression of who they are. They care about purpose and impact, not just revenue. And they know that what happens inside them shapes what happens in their business.
You might be a coach, a healer, a creative, a consultant or a founder. If you’re running a business and doing inner work at the same time, you’re likely a conscious entrepreneur.
Who we serve: conscious entrepreneurs with adverse childhood experiences
Many conscious entrepreneurs have something else in common, though it’s rarely talked about. They grew up with adverse childhood experiences, often called ACEs: hard things in childhood, such as neglect, abuse, or a home full of conflict or addiction.
If that is part of your story, you may recognise this. You’ve done the work. You’ve read the books, taken the courses, been to the retreats. You probably know more about growth than most people. And yet something still isn’t clicking.
It’s not you. You’re not broken, and you’re not behind. The patterns that held you back were installed, not chosen. They show up as brakes in your business:
- undercharging, even when you know your worth,
- hiding: the offer, the website or the voice that never quite goes public,
- perfectionism that keeps things almost ready forever,
- pulling back right at the edge of a breakthrough,
- giving far more than you receive, and feeling uneasy about asking.
Those brakes made sense once. They kept a child safe. They are just not needed in the same way now.
Why we focus here
We chose this focus because it is David Cameron Gikandi’s own story. In his words: “As a boy in Kenya, I learned that dreaming out loud was dangerous. Years later, every time I got close to success, an invisible force pushed back. I learned to release that brake. Now I help others release theirs.”
The word “with” matters to us. It includes people who are still healing, people halfway through, and people who have done years of work and simply want their business to catch up. Nobody has to have it all figured out to belong here. And the goal is not healing for its own sake. Healing is part of how the brakes come off. The goal is a working business, with more income and more impact.
The belief underneath our work
Our whole approach rests on one idea, which we call the Because. It follows directly from the line above:
Because manifesting is as natural as breathing. It is already running, and it is already obeying the conditioning it was handed. So the work is releasing the brakes, rising above that conditioning, and building real structure and flow around abundance — the mindset, the financial plumbing, the entrepreneurial steps.
This is why we don’t sell manifesting tricks or tips. You don’t need to learn how to manifest. You’re already doing it, all the time, faithfully, from the instructions you were handed as a child. The work is changing what it runs on, and building real structure around your goals.
This idea comes from David Cameron Gikandi’s own teaching. “Manifesting is as natural as breathing” is a lesson in his course Manifesting In A Nutshell. You can read more about his story and work on the About page.
The Three Pillars of conscious entrepreneurship
Most personal development fails to change a business for one reason: the parts get worked on separately. Strategy in one course, mindset in another, spirituality in a third. Nobody shows you how they fit together.
The Three Pillars bring them back together:
- Economic Machine: the practical side of making money, such as your model, niche, marketing, pricing and sales.
- Mind & Heart: the inner side, such as mindset, identity, emotional patterns and relationships. This is where brakes are released.
- Spirit & Flow: the source side, such as purpose, manifestation, awakening and daily practice.
Most real problems live in all three. “I can’t charge what I’m worth” is a strategy question, a worthiness question and a purpose question at once. Working on all three together is what finally makes it move.
One of the most common places conscious entrepreneurs get stuck is the tension between spirituality and money. We wrote a whole guide to the spirituality-money tension about it.
How the work is done
David built several methods to hold the pillars together:
- GPS+I: a four-week cycle of Goal, Problem, Solutions and Integration. Each month you set a goal, find the brakes in the way, apply techniques, and make the change part of daily life.
- The 6-Layer Model: a way to find where a block lives (Essence, Ego, Narrative, Somatic, Behavioural or Relational) so you can use a tool that reaches it.
- CLARITI: a method for change at the level of identity.
These are tools for releasing brakes and building structure. They are never lessons in how to manifest. Manifesting needs no lesson.
What conscious entrepreneurship is not
It’s worth being clear, because this space is full of noise.
- It is not “just do the inner work” and the money will follow. The structure half matters as much as the inner half.
- It is not about hustling harder while ignoring what’s going on inside.
- It is not therapy. Healing is part of the path, but the outcome we work toward is a business that works. If you need clinical support, please work with a qualified therapist alongside anything you do here.
- It is not a promise of a certain income. Everyone’s path is different.
Questions people ask
What does conscious entrepreneur mean?
It means an entrepreneur who runs their business with awareness of their inner life, their purpose and their impact on others. Their business is an expression of who they are, not just a way to earn.
What is a conscious business?
A conscious business is one built around a clear purpose and run with care for everyone it touches: clients, team, community and the wider world, as well as the owner.
Do I have to have adverse childhood experiences to join?
No. Our work is shaped around conscious entrepreneurs with adverse childhood experiences, because that is who we understand best. But anyone who recognises the brakes described here is welcome.
Is this a spiritual business community or a business course?
Both, on purpose. The Three Pillars hold business strategy, inner work and spiritual practice together, because each one on its own tends to stall.
