What’s the difference between the community and the mastermind?

The mastermind ($3,500/mo) adds direct work with David — a weekly private 1:1, a weekly group mastermind call with up to 8 peers, and async access on ClarityFlow. Mostly: structured personalised time with David, every week.
Can I do a single 1:1 with David instead of joining the cohort?
No. The mastermind is the only way to work with David 1:1 right now. The reason: the structure is part of the value. A single session can’t do the work a 6-month cycle can.
What’s the time commitment?
Around 2–4 hours a week total — including the calls. And nothing is mandatory.
Your weekly 1:1 with David runs as long as the work actually needs. Sometimes 30 minutes is enough; sometimes 90. The average lands around 45 minutes. If you don’t need a 1:1 in a given week, you skip it.
The weekly group mastermind call is optional too — come when it serves you, skip when it doesn’t.
Your own structured work fills out the rest — usually 1–3 hours a week, on your own rhythm. The ClarityFlow line means you’re never waiting for a slot when something’s live.
What matters more than the hour count is the depth of attention you bring. Most members find that 2–4 hours total a week is enough to land transformational results.
Can I cancel? Is there a refund?
You can cancel any month — no fixed term, no exit fees, no last-three-months gotchas. Because billing is monthly with cancel-anytime, most fit issues are handled by cancellation rather than refund. What happens when the cohort fills up?
There is no “next cohort.” The Mastermind is a hard-capped 8 — the most David can give bespoke, high-touch attention to. When the eighth seat fills, enrolment closes. The next seat only opens when someone leaves — and the price for that opening tracks current demand. In practice: each time a seat reopens, it’s priced higher. If you see the Join button on Skool, a seat is still available; if Skool shows enrolment closed, it’s closed at the moment.
Translation: joining now at $3,500/month is the cheapest entry will ever be. That’s basic supply-and-demand, not a manufactured pressure tactic.
