The CLARITI Method Applied to Magnetic Marketing Energy-Based

You’ve read enough about magnetic marketing to understand, at least intellectually, what magnetic marketing requires at the identity level. The message needs to come from your real voice. The content needs to reflect who you actually are. The presence needs to be genuinely grounded, not performed.

And yet something still isn’t clicking. You sit down to create content and what comes out doesn’t quite sound like you. Or you share something that felt authentic in the writing and then spend the rest of the day wanting to delete it.

It’s not a tactics problem. And it’s not a character flaw.

Why identity alignment matters is well-documented: when there’s a gap between who you are internally and how you show up in marketing, readers feel the incongruence. But closing that gap requires more than knowing it exists. It requires a systematic process — one that addresses the identity layer where the block actually lives.

The CLARITI framework is that process.

What CLARITI Addresses

CLARITI — Construct Identity, Liberate Beliefs, Acquire Skills, Reinforce Traits, Identify Roadblocks, Transformational Work — is a six-stage framework for identity-level change. Applied to magnetic marketing, it addresses the specific question: What needs to shift in my identity for my marketing to genuinely reflect who I am?

Most marketing blocks are not information problems. They’re identity problems. The identity layer in marketing is the part that determines whether content feels alive or flat — not the content strategy, but the person behind the content and whether they’re actually present when creating it.

Applying CLARITI to Magnetic Marketing — Six Stages

Stage 1: Construct Identity

The first stage asks: who is the version of you whose marketing is genuinely magnetic?

This isn’t about inventing a persona. It’s about identifying the qualities that are already present in you — the care, the specific knowledge, the way of seeing your clients’ experience — and constructing a clear image of what it looks like for those qualities to come through fully in your content.

Practically: write a detailed description of what magnetic marketing looks like coming from you specifically. Not from a generic conscious entrepreneur — from you. What voice does it use? What does it say that other practitioners don’t? Who does it speak to in a way only you can?

Stage 2: Liberate Beliefs

This stage maps the beliefs that prevent Stage 1 from being real. Common examples in the marketing domain:

“I’m not the kind of person people pay attention to.” “Being visible feels unsafe.” “Sharing my real thoughts will drive people away.” “My ideas aren’t original enough to matter.”

These beliefs don’t make themselves obvious. They operate through the choices you make before you’re conscious of making them — what you decide not to post, what you write and then delete, what you say and immediately over-explain.

The four components of magnetic marketing all require that these beliefs be addressed — not suppressed, but genuinely worked through. Liberating a belief means tracing it to its source, seeing what it was protecting, and offering a new frame that the nervous system can actually accept.

Stage 3: Acquire Skills

Once identity is constructed and limiting beliefs have been identified, this stage addresses practical skill gaps. In marketing, these might be: writing with your actual voice (different from writing well in a formal sense), expressing vulnerability without over-sharing, communicating an offer with genuine conviction rather than apology.

Skills develop with practice. But they develop differently — faster and more sustainably — when the identity layer (Stage 1) and the belief layer (Stage 2) are being addressed simultaneously.

Stage 4: Reinforce Traits

Magnetic marketing is built on consistent expression of particular traits: genuine care for your reader, specific knowledge delivered with precision, presence that doesn’t perform.

This stage identifies the traits that are already present in you but perhaps not consistently showing up in your marketing. And it designs deliberate reinforcement — practices that bring those traits forward more reliably.

Practical examples: reviewing what your best clients have said about what your work did for them, before creating content. Connecting with genuine curiosity about a problem your reader faces, before writing a piece. Building in small rituals that shift your state from reactive to grounded before any marketing activity.

Stage 5: Identify Roadblocks

This stage is ongoing. As you move through Stages 1–4, new obstacles reveal themselves. Fear of a specific type of visibility. A particular audience whose response you’re afraid of. A topic you’ve been avoiding that’s actually central to your magnetic voice.

Identifying roadblocks precisely — rather than experiencing them as a general sense of not wanting to do marketing — makes them workable. A specific block can be addressed. A vague aversion is much harder to move.

Stage 6: Transformational Work

The final stage is integration — ensuring that the changes made through stages 1–5 actually become how you operate, not just insights you hold intellectually.

The spiritual dimension of visibility often surfaces here: the recognition that consistent, genuine showing-up requires a degree of inner work that most marketing courses don’t prepare you for. It requires being willing to be seen, which for many ACE-adjacent practitioners is the most genuinely hard thing in the entire marketing process.

Transformational work in this context looks like: maintaining the practice through resistance, getting support during the stages that are genuinely difficult, and choosing the deeper work over the easier fix of another content strategy.

Where to Start

If you’re new to CLARITI in the marketing context, Stage 1 is the most efficient entry point. Spend time constructing a specific, honest image of what your magnetic marketing looks and feels like — not ideally, but actually, given who you are and who you serve.

That image becomes the compass. Every other stage orients around it.
