Partner and Family Dynamics for Those Who’ve Tried Everything
If you’ve done the therapy, read the books, attended the workshops, worked with coaches, and the partner and family dynamics pattern is still running — this is for you.
Why “Having Tried Everything” Isn’t Failure
The pattern’s persistence after significant effort is information, not evidence of irreversibility. It usually points to one of several specific gaps in the approach.
The approach didn’t reach the right layer. Cognitive approaches — understanding the pattern, developing new beliefs — are effective at the narrative layer. They’re less effective at the somatic and behavioral layers, which require experiential rather than conceptual work.
The approach didn’t include relational context. Solo work on relational patterns has genuine ceiling effects. The pattern is relational — it lives in the context of other people. Working on it alone, however deeply, doesn’t produce the updating that happens in actual relational experience.
The approach addressed the wrong level of activation. Many therapeutic and personal development approaches work at high or moderate activation — examining the big moments, the significant relationships. What drives durable change is graduated practice at the lowest activation levels available.
The approach produced insight without behavioral iteration. Understanding is necessary but not sufficient. The nervous system updates on repeated behavioral experience, not on comprehension.
What’s Different Here
The approach most likely to produce movement after significant previous effort:
Small activation, not large. The conversation you’ve avoided a hundred times — approach the lowest-activation version of it, not the one that feels most meaningful.
Behavioral repetition, not more insight. More understanding of why the pattern exists won’t produce change. More low-stakes behavioral experiments will.
Relational context, not solo work. Practice where the relational system is present.
The daily practice is specifically designed for gradual accumulation, not dramatic breakthroughs.
The Abundance GPS Skool community provides the relational context that solo work cannot replicate.
