They already trust it enough to have maintained the relationship. The magnetic work required to sustain their engagement is different in kind from the work required to create initial attraction — and is often significantly more leveraged, because a deepened relationship with someone already in orbit is more valuable than a new, just-formed relationship with someone recently attracted.
More fragile because the magnetic relationship with existing followers can quietly fade without the practitioner noticing. The new potential client who doesn’t convert is immediately visible as a non-conversion. The existing follower who gradually disengages is less visible — they drift rather than clearly leave. By the time the drift becomes apparent, the magnetic relationship has significantly weakened.

The two audiences require different things. New potential clients need the recognition response — the sense that this practitioner understands their specific situation and has something for them. Existing followers need the evolution response — the sense that this practitioner continues to deepen, and that spending time with their presence continues to produce something that wasn’t available before.
The practitioner who treats their magnetic practice as purely outward-facing is serving one of these audiences while neglecting the other. The one being neglected — the existing orbit — is often where the most significant accumulated trust lives, and that trust is the foundation for the deepest magnetic relationships.

The new potential client encounters it and receives recognition. The existing follower encounters it and receives continued depth. Both responses are possible from the same presence when the showing up is coming from a practitioner whose understanding continues to develop.
How conscious entrepreneurs approach the relational dimension is through a genuine orientation toward their entire community — not just toward the people not yet in it. The conscious practitioner who holds genuine care for the people already in relationship with their work naturally produces showing up that serves the retention dimension as well as the attraction dimension.
