5 Reframes That Make Magnetic Marketing Energy-Based Less Overwhelming
The feeling of overwhelm around magnetic marketing presence usually isn’t about the work itself. It’s about the frame through which the work is being approached. The right reframe doesn’t make the work disappear — it makes it navigable. Five of the most useful follow.
Reframe 1: From “I need to be magnetic” to “I’m developing a relationship with showing up.” The pressure that comes from trying to be magnetic — to produce a specific quality of pull in other people — is enormous. It’s asking the practitioner to control something that isn’t directly controllable. What reframes the overwhelming feeling of magnetic practice is recognizing that the work is actually about developing a relationship with showing up — attending to the conditions in which genuine expression becomes more natural over time. That’s a practice that can be done. Being magnetic is a result, not a task.
Reframe 2: From “my entire showing up needs to change” to “I’m working with the current configuration.” The scope of what feels like it needs to change can make the work feel impossible before it begins. The practitioner who believes their entire showing up needs to be different faces a blank page where a possible next step should be. The full picture of accessible magnetic practice works with the current configuration — whatever is already there — rather than requiring it to be replaced wholesale. Working with what’s already operating is a far more accessible starting point than starting over.
Reframe 3: From “each piece needs to be magnetic” to “I’m building something that accumulates.” The pressure of evaluating each individual piece of showing up for its magnetic quality is exhausting. Magnetic presence doesn’t work that way. Ways to work with magnetic presence without force includes this reframe: the practitioner is building something through accumulation. Each piece is a contribution to something larger, not a standalone performance that needs to succeed on its own terms. Some pieces are stepping stones; some land more powerfully. Both are part of the same practice.
Reframe 4: From “I need to figure out my magnetic presence before I show up” to “showing up is how I figure it out.” The practitioner who waits until they have clarity before showing up is making the development dependent on something that showing up would actually produce. A daily practice that makes magnetic work more manageable begins from wherever the practitioner actually is — not from wherever they think they need to be first. The figuring out happens through the practice, not before it.
Reframe 5: From “magnetic presence is about attracting more people” to “it’s about being genuinely visible to the right people.” The scale at which magnetic pull is often measured — reach, follower counts, audience size — makes the work feel like it requires enormous production to matter. But what non-overwhelming magnetic showing up looks like is often quite contained: it’s being genuinely seen by the specific people for whom this particular work is designed. One practitioner who is deeply magnetic to the hundred people who need what they offer has more than enough. The reframe from “more people” to “the right people” makes the scope immediately more navigable.
Each of these reframes does the same thing: it moves the target from something impossible (directly producing magnetic pull) to something possible (developing the conditions, the practice, and the relationship that allow magnetic showing up to become more natural over time). The work doesn’t get smaller with these reframes. It gets more accurately sized.
The Abundance GPS Skool community holds these reframes as the practical foundation of magnetic presence development — making the work navigable without making it smaller than it actually is. The door is open at https://www.skool.com/miraclesforme/about.
