Using Consciousness Calibration to Assess Your Money Frequency

You’ve worked on your beliefs. You’ve done the energy practices. You’ve tried to shift your relationship to money — and something has moved. But you’re not quite sure where you are, how far you’ve come, or what’s still between you and the results you’re working toward.

There’s a framework for this. And it’s more practical than it might first appear.

The Principle Behind Money Frequency

What money blocks are at the deepest level connects to a principle David Hawkins articulated through decades of research into consciousness: your internal state — the level of consciousness you’re actually operating from, not the one you aspire to — shapes your results more than your strategy does.

Not because of mystical reasons, but because of something more concrete: the level of consciousness you operate from determines the quality of your decisions, your perception of what’s possible, your capacity to act without self-sabotage, and the kind of opportunities your nervous system even registers as relevant.

Operating from fear (level 100 on Hawkins’s scale) produces a different quality of business decision than operating from courage (200), acceptance (350), or love (500). Not because higher levels are spiritually superior, but because they produce genuinely different cognitive and behavioural outputs.

Abundance vs scarcity programming is, in this framework, another way of describing the difference between operating below 200 (where fear, desire, and pride create scarcity behaviours) and above 200 (where courage and acceptance create the foundation for constructive action).

Why Calibration Matters

The challenge with consciousness-based approaches to money is that they can remain abstract. You can understand the principle — “raise your frequency and results change” — without having any reliable way to assess where you actually are.

Calibration addresses this. It moves the question from abstract (“am I high-vibe enough?”) to specific: In this particular domain — money, charging, receiving, wealth identity — what level am I actually operating from?

The answer matters because diagnosing your money block at this level reveals something specific. A money pattern operating from the desire/fear cluster (levels 100–150) requires different work than one operating from the pride cluster (175) or the courage threshold (200). And critically: small shifts at lower levels produce exponentially larger results than large efforts at already-higher levels.

The mathematics of the logarithmic consciousness scale mean that moving from 150 to 200 in your money consciousness — fear-and-desire to courage and constructive action — creates a more significant real-world shift than moving from 400 to 450. The threshold crossings are where the most leverage lives.

Practical Self-Assessment for Money Frequency

Kinesiology provides one rigorous approach to calibration — using the body’s muscle-testing response to discern where you’re actually operating, which can bypass the ego’s tendency to give aspirational rather than honest answers. But there’s a simpler starting point that doesn’t require a partner or practice.

Step 1: Identify your money domain

Choose a specific area: charging for your work, receiving payment, making financial decisions, holding income goals, responding to unexpected expense. Be specific — consciousness level varies by domain. You may operate from courage in your creative work and from fear in your pricing.

Step 2: The honest-evidence question

For that domain, ask: What does my actual behaviour reveal about the state I’m operating from?

Not what you aspire to. Not what you believe at the narrative level. What the behaviour evidence shows.

Behaviour operating from fear (100): avoiding pricing conversations, waiting to see what the other person will pay, taking small actions then stopping when they don’t work quickly.

Behaviour operating from desire/craving (125): constantly adjusting strategy, pursuing every tactic without sustained application, attracting opportunities that slip away.

Behaviour operating from courage (200): charging your actual rate without apology, following up consistently, staying with a strategy long enough for evidence to accumulate.

Step 3: The body-truth test

State a sentence about your money consciousness level: “In the area of charging for my work, I am operating from courage.” Notice the body’s response. Not what you hope — what actually happens. A slight contraction or resistance, or an expansion and ease?

The body is more honest than the narrative mind. This simple test, applied genuinely, often reveals a gap between stated level and actual operating level.

Step 4: Find the threshold

The layers beneath a money block reveal that most persistent money blocks involve operating below the 200 threshold in a specific domain. The question is: how close to 200 are you? And what would it take to cross it?

The threshold of courage is characterised by being able to act in the face of uncertainty without waiting for the fear to disappear first. If you can state your rate while still feeling some fear — and not needing to revise it down — you’re operating from courage. If the fear consistently drives the revision, you’re operating below.

What Moves the Level

Consciousness level in a specific domain doesn’t shift primarily through understanding. It shifts through accumulated genuine experience at the next level — through actions taken from courage before the fear is gone, through receiving allowed before it feels comfortable, through the abundance anchoring practice building embodied experience of the higher-frequency state.

The GPS+I framework is built for this: Goal (what level are you moving toward in this domain), Problem (what’s keeping you at the current level), Solutions (the specific techniques that address that level’s pattern), Integration (the sustained practice that makes the new level stable).

Calibration tells you where you are. The framework tells you what to do from there.

One thing the logarithmic scale makes clear: you don’t need to reach 500 to have materially different money results. Moving from 150 to 200 — from the desire-and-fear cluster to the threshold of constructive action — is where the most significant real-world leverage lives for most people. That’s the crossing that changes the quality of decisions, the consistency of follow-through, and the capacity to charge and receive without self-sabotage.

That crossing is specific. And it’s achievable.
