Part 1 of 46 · Overview · ~5 min read

You’ve found us. Welcome.

If you’re here, you’ve probably already done a lot of work on money. Maybe you’ve read the books — fifty of them, sitting on a shelf somewhere, half-finished. Maybe you’ve sat in rooms where someone with a lot of conviction told you that abundance is your birthright. Maybe you’ve journalled the affirmations. Maybe you can quote three different teachers on wealth consciousness. And maybe the numbers in your bank account still don’t reflect any of it.

It’s not you.

Most teaching about money starts one layer too late. It tells you what to do with money before telling you what money actually is. And when the foundation is fuzzy, every technique built on top of it wobbles.

This series is the audiobook companion to David Cameron Gikandi’s A Happy Pocket Full of Money — the book that became an international bestseller in twelve languages, earned David a Creative Consultant credit on The Secret, and still holds a 4.8-star average across more than 2,300 Amazon reviews twenty-five years after it was first published. One reader called it “a manual for life.” Forty-five short chapters. About twelve hours total. Free to listen, in order, one chapter at a time. Full transcripts on every page.

What the book actually does

Most personal-finance books teach you how to manage scarcity. This one teaches you the inner architecture wealth needs to land on.

It moves chapter by chapter from illusion — what money actually is and isn’t — through wealth consciousness, certainty, gratitude, giving, and finally daily practice. It is not a system to follow. It is a layer of awareness underneath every system you might already know. The chapters are short on purpose. The work is in the absorbing, not the reading.

Who this series is for

It’s for the conscious entrepreneur who has done the inner work and still feels something quietly holding them back around money.

It’s for the healer or coach who could probably teach a class on abundance — and still hasn’t crossed the income threshold that should match the depth of their work.

It’s for anyone who has been given one piece of the puzzle at a time — business strategy here, mindset there, spiritual alignment somewhere else — and never been shown how the three fit together.

If something still isn’t clicking around money despite everything you’ve already absorbed, this is the foundation piece most teachers skip.

How the series is organized

Forty-five chapters of audio, ordered exactly as the book is. Each chapter is its own short essay — most are between five and twelve minutes. Watch one. Listen to a few in sequence. Or pick the chapter title that lands for you today.

The opening chapters (Money, An Illusion · The Steps · How To Listen To This) lay the groundwork. The middle of the book introduces wealth consciousness as a state, not a strategy. The closing chapters move into daily practice — what to actually do with this material when you put the audio down.

This first page has no video. Part 1 is the orientation. The audiobook proper begins with Part 2: Money, An Illusion.

How to use it

You might want to read this in pieces. The material is layered, and some of it lands on a second pass or a third. There is no rush. The next chapter will still be here.

If a chapter doesn’t click on the first listen, sit with it. Come back. The work isn’t to memorize — it’s to let it sink. Some readers go through the full book once a year. Some keep one chapter open in a tab for a week.

A few people have told us this is the book they wish they’d been given at twenty-five. Others have told us they couldn’t have heard it at twenty-five — that it took the long way around to be ready. Both are true. Wherever you are with money right now is exactly where the book meets you.

When you’re ready, the audiobook begins below.
