Do This One Simple Trick To Change Your Beliefs Forever!

In my previous articles about the revolutionary facts about beliefs and how to master its 3 kinds, I discussed so many important truths about our beliefs.

This post, on the other hand, is solely focused on how you can start changing them. It will also teach you the following:

  • How your beliefs form in the first place
  • Why you are not the ideas you believe in
  • One simple yet effective way to change them

If you want to learn how you can apply this to your life, let’s continue!

How To Alter Your Beliefs In One Powerful Step

An individual can change their beliefs by utilizing the present moment. This involves a straightforward approach of using the conscious mind to alter the beliefs of the unconscious state.

A Fail-Proof Hack To Updating Your Beliefs

A Fail-Proof Hack To Updating Your Beliefs

When it comes to changing limiting beliefs, the most important thing to remember is to utilize the present moment.

The here and now is always your point of power.

You can change any belief right now.

It does not matter whether or not you remember where it was formed or why.

You are not at the mercy of any belief.

Here’s what you need to do:

Work with your beliefs consciously.

Make an effort to directly address them with your mind.

Warning: If you keep putting this off, you will be forced to work with them indirectly and unconsciously as you react to the physical manifestations that they create.

The conscious and direct approach is far easier and more efficient.

It also allows you to quickly create the reality of your choice.

This is because you are deliberately creating your world by first creating it within you.

You are doing this by forming the following:

  • Beliefs
  • Emotions
  • Imagination

How Your Beliefs Are Formed

How Your Beliefs Are Formed

Let’s now talk about how these beliefs are formed.

With this awareness, you can prevent them from taking shape in the first place.

The concept I will introduce to you today is image conclusions.

These are what lies behind every belief you have.

That’s why it’s so important to understand them (and to a lesser extent although not necessary, how you got them).

Through this understanding, you are able to do the following:

  • Change them
  • Easily free yourself
  • Stop repeating a bad past

You may wonder, “What exactly are image conclusions?”

Allow me to explain.

Most major image conclusions are formed between conception and the age of 7.

For example, imagine a child who is growing in the womb of a mother who fears life.

She doesn’t want to have the baby and doesn’t nurture herself well.

This child, while in the womb, makes a subconscious image conclusion that says, “Life is threatening and I don’t belong.”

They would then grow up and live their lives from that perspective.

Without consciously knowing, they assume that it is a fact of life.

Because of this, their actions include:

  • Always trying to defend themselves
  • Acting as if they are unwanted and under attack
  • Setting themselves up in situations that prove this belief
  • Facing situations that seem to attack and abandon them

They would literally treat themselves as if they were under threat and abandoned.

Naturally, the universe reflects their beliefs to them.

This cycle would continue unless it is broken through:

  • Awareness
  • Finding the truth from within

The reality is that most people convert their image conclusions into beliefs.

They may even not realize that they’re doing so.

They live their whole life and react from the perspective of it.

Therefore, their image conclusions color all similar experiences.

Here’s the truth:

Each experience is new and unique.

It doesn’t have to be at all like the last one.

However, a person who strongly believes their image conclusion will not experience this new variety.

Instead, what will occur are redefinitions colored by the image conclusion.

Thus the past repeats itself.

Their reactions and responses will also not be in line with the present circumstances.

Rather, these will be based on the past (they will be out of line and exaggerated, having nothing to do with the present).

Beliefs Vs. Identity: Why You Are Not Your Beliefs

Beliefs Vs. Identity: Why You Are Not Your Beliefs

Now that you know how beliefs are created, allow me to tackle what it often leads to.

Since you don’t recognize that certain beliefs are false, you have misguided assumptions.

You embrace them as part of your identity.

This is a dangerous assumption.

Note this:

If you believe you are then you will experience that.

Since you regard it as true, then you will encounter people and beliefs that mirror these to you.

For this reason, you need to understand that you are not your beliefs.

Let me give you an example.

The statement, “I am fat” is not a fact but a belief.

It does not represent you but only states what you believe in.

You are not fat.

You are a spirit.

Once you’ve made a clear distinction between you and your beliefs, you’ll learn how to work with them deliberately and comfortably.

Conclusion

Now that you’ve reached the end of this article, let me leave you with a wonderful quote by Seth.

When you alter your beliefs today you also reprogram your past. As far as you are concerned,  the present is your point of action, focus, and power, and from that point of volition, you form both your future and past. Realizing this, you will understand that you are not at the mercy of a past over which you have no control.”

-Seth

Remember that in the process of changing your old beliefs, you need to keep an open mind.

You need to accept that they are simply ideas about reality, not facts.

You are worthy of manifesting the life of your dreams.

Your mind is capable of creating heaven and earth, life and death, and its experience of that (and it does).

When it is said, “If you have faith to move a mountain it will move,” that is another way of showing you just how powerful the mind is.

You can achieve so much more than the limitations you place on yourself.
