Let’s ask ourselves some tough yet critical questions:
1. How close are we to nuclear war by intention or accident?
2. Is Russia really a threat, as the Obama-Clinton Administration suggested? Or is this another case of “Iraq’s Weapons Of Mass Destruction”?
3. Are we being sold a war, yet again, this time a terminal one? Or is the threat real?
4. What can you and I do to prevent catastrophe?
Of course, the answers to these questions will always be different, depending on who you ask and where they live and what they have been conditioned to believe. There is no absolute truth.
The better question to ask is, can we the citizens, not the governments, ensure there will be no war?
Yes, we can, if we all come together, as citizens, and stop sitting idly by and watching the governments drive us closer to oblivion.
Yet, let’s first understand the back story behind this nuclear drama and consider whatever facts we can gather, which is quite difficult to do because the truth is covered up in politics and secrecy. But we shall try…
Before we begin, I’d like to emphasize that this document is not pro-Russia, or pro-US, or pro-East or pro-West.
It is pro-peace and pro-unity, pro-Earth, and it’s objective is to expose any lies within propaganda so as to enable us all to recognize when we are being fooled into another conflict, as has been happening so often lately.
OK, we begin…
1. Let’s First Consider Population Sizes
- Russia’s population is 143.5 million
- The US population is 318.9 million
- Europe’s population is 743.1 million
Some people imagine that Russia could “take over” the US and Europe.
Can that happen?
Maybe. But that would mean a population of 143 million trying to subdue a population of 1 billion (US + Europe).
And both sides have nukes and other nasty arms.
There would be no winner, only total losers on all sides.
Why would they attempt it unless their only aim was self-destruction without victory?
Besides, deep down, none of these populations really wish to fight – the American ordinary people don’t really wish to go to war, the Russian ordinary people don’t really wish to go to war… it’s only the leaders who are sabre-rattling and causing tension.
Which means it is a few hundred people in leadership in those nations, out of a total of 1.2 billion, that are actually causing all this drama.
2. Nuclear Weapons Count & Capability
As you can see here, Russia has more than the US.
But what does that really mean? What difference does it make?
Consider these 10 facts carefully:
- Nine countries together possess more than 23,000 nuclear weapons.
- Of these, 2,500 nuclear weapons are always maintained on high-alert status – ready to be launched within minutes of a warning.
- Most of these modern nukes are 1,000 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in Japan in 1945. Some are up to 3,800 times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb. Imagine, 23,000 nukes, some of which are 3,800 times as powerful as the single Hiroshima bomb that killed 140,000 people. That means one of these super nukes has the ability to kill up to 100 million people depending on weather and many other factors, both immediately and in the aftermath of the years to follow, from radiation and disease! In one strike!
- The total nuclear arsenal is enough nuclear power to destroy the entire planet 5 times over! A recently declassified document shared by nuclear historian Alex Wellerstein gives the verdict that scientists at the Los Alamos laboratory and test site reached in 1945. They found that “it would require only in the neighborhood of 10 to 100 super-nukes” to destroy the human race through the combined effects of not just the explosion, but more so the nuclear aftermath for generations to come, making the planet unlivable. Imagine that, as few as only 10 super nukes could end the human race.
- The nuclear missiles travel at faster than 1000 miles in 4 minutes. Therefore, the only way that countries have of knowing if a nuclear attack is in progress is through an electronic early warning system. This system, like all electronic systems, fail sometimes and, as has happened before in the past, gives off false alarms. It takes only 35 minutes for a nuke launched in the USA to reach Russia, and vice versa. This gives the other side less than 12 minutes to decide what to do. Machine and human error alone could launch a war.
- The default reaction is retaliation, in a protocol known as Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD). That is to say that the armies of the world, the people who hold the launch codes for these nukes, are under instruction to fire the nukes in retaliation, and assure that both sides don’t live to tell the tale. Sometimes MAD is built into the systems to help the staff react faster. Are we literally going mad, or what? Why does that even exist? Yes, I remember – mutual deterrence. What a crazy idea. If it fails, we are done for.
- Several times in the past, the systems have failed. For example, in one crisis, a single man saved the world from destruction. In 1983, Russian electronic monitors were signaling a massive nuclear attack from the US. Stanislav Petrov was brave enough to insist to his superiors not to launch a counter attack, and it turned out that the systems were indeed malfunctioning. Were it not for him, there very likely would have been a Russian launch, followed by a US retaliation, which is the default protocol. And the world would have suffered immeasurably, all because of an electronic malfunction. These failures have happened a few times, all around the world. Even in America, they have failed several times. And these systems are still in place. What if our luck rans out?
- The UK nuclear arsenal alone, with about 185 weapons “only”, has the destructive power to destroy over 80% of the 195 capital cities of the world.
- We ignored the threats from the banking system until the first banks started to collapse. Then we took emergency action. We are behaving in the same way with the immeasurably more dangerous nuclear weapons arsenals. If we wait till the first nuclear weapons are launched no emergency action will help the millions of dead and dying.
- The only way to prevent nuclear war is to insist on them being dismantled. According to some analysts, a nuclear war is inevitable as long as the stockpile are around. Human error and machine error, at the very least, can trigger one. Even if the risk is only 0.5% per year, that would mean a 5% chance of a nuclear war every decade. Given enough time even a small possibility becomes a certainty. One Stanford University Professor, Martin Hellman, predicts that any child born today runs a ten percent chance of being killed in a nuclear war.
So, considering the above 10 facts, knowing that just a few dozen weapons are enough to destroy the world, what do you think of this news:
Both sides are upgrading their nuclear capability.
Both of them are taking us further to the brink of global catastrophe.
As if the current stockpile is not enough.
Question: Can more nukes guarantee peace?
Think about it.
Which is more likely to ensure peace and a clean Earth?
More nukes, or zero nukes?
Does it really matter who has a better argument, whether it is the US or Russia?
It is irrelevant.
The strategy itself is flawed because if mutual deterrence fails, we have mutually assured destruction – we already have too, too many nukes!
The best level of nuclear arms is zero.
But the governments cannot get us there, because they are forced into reactive positions by the military-industrial complex and it’s global influence.
Only we the United People of Earth can get us to peace.
Only we can compel our governments to calm down.
3. What Re-Started The Cold War And All This New Tension?
It all has to do with NATO.
Specifically, this here is a quote from Australia’s ABC News, that summaries it well for us:
“Perhaps the key factor has been NATO’s expansion right up to Russia’s doorstep, absorbing much of Eastern Europe and even the three Baltic states (formerly part of the Soviet Union).
Another factor is US deployment of a ballistic missile defence system in Romania, soon to be followed by a similar deployment in Poland. Russia has denounced these policies as a threat to its security and part of a new American containment strategy.
Putin’s response has been to restore Russia’s influence. This has meant strengthening its position in eastern Ukraine, annexing Crimea, taking issue with western military intervention in Libya, offering the Assad regime in Syria strong military support, and pursuing a far more assertive role at the UN Security Council and in several regional conflicts.
Both Russia and the United States now regularly cite the unfriendly actions of the other side as justification for ambitious nuclear weapons modernisation programs.” – Source: ABC News
Basically, Russia is worried because the US, via NATO, is placing bombs and troops all around it’s borders.
Which is true, the US doesn’t even deny it.
But the US says it is to “protect Europe from Iran’s nuclear weapons”.
And so, Russia doesn’t feel comfortable with US nukes and ICBMS all around it’s borders.
Which is a normal reaction; I mean, would you feel comfortable if you were suddenly surrounded by someone else’s deadly weapons?
And out of this nervousness, Russia is also activating its own arms.
Understandably so, I mean, imagine how America would feel if Russia placed nukes, troops and bombs all around the US border, how would that feel?
Which American would relax about that?
So you can see why Russia is nervous.
That, in a nutshell, is the problem.
Russia is now has US nuclear and non-nuclear arms, troops, tanks and heavy weapons, recently stationed in these countries, which are all Russia’s neighbours:
- Germany (where twenty (20) of the new-generation nuclear weapons are to be station in Büchel, Germany, and preparations are already under way. That is equivalent to the firepower of 80 Hiroshima bombs.)
Again, the US doesn’t deny it. Have a look at this, form the US military’s own news service:
So now, we are being led to believe that the Middle East is going to launch rockets to Europe, and the only way to prevent this is to place nukes and missiles in Europe, around Russia’s borders.
Hmmm. Where have we heard this before?
The question is, why is this provocation starting to happen now?
NATO says it is for securing peace, but in reality, all it is doing is escalating tensions.
Someone wants tensions between Russia and the US to rise, but why?
Unfortunately, none of this is reported accurately in the West – instead, the news simply keeps touting Russia, China and Iran as “threats” instead of explaining what is really going on.
Listen very, very, very carefully to what Putin says about this during the recent The Valdai Discussion Club, as shown on Russian TV:
Valdai Discussion Club, Part 1 of 2
Valdai Discussion Club, Part 2 of 2
Putin’s Warning: Full Speech 2016 & 2007
What did you make of those speeches?
You have to watch all 3 in the order they are presented above.
Does Putin sound like he is actively looking for war as his main goal?
It sounds to me like Putin is a person who has the unquestionable capability and intent to react in terribly and absolutely deadly defensive ways if cornered, but it also sounds like a person who actually prefers dialogue and peaceful resolution, and beyond that, desires an end of the old fear-based imperial approaches, a person seeking the adoption of new approaches that elevate the common citizen across the world, everywhere, and not just the elite few.
Nuclear Decisions Affect Millions Or Even Billions Of People, For Generations. These Are Not Bows And Arrows. These Are Planet-Changing Weapons. The Decision For Their Use Cannot Be Left To A Handful Of People To Determine The Fate Of The Entire Planet
In my opinion, there are some things that should not be left to presidents, prime ministers and a handful of military generals to decide.
Nuclear weaponry falls squarely in this category.
It is not fair to the masses.
And it is not fair even to those who bear the burden of such decisions.
Do you realize that a handful of people could make a decision that wipes out the lives of hundreds of thousands or even millions of people, perhaps even billions if it escalates in retaliation?
And for the survivors, do you realize they would be left with a planet that may be so polluted that living on it becomes a dark, painful, daily existence?
And do you realize how monstrous the DNA mutations are for the children of survivors are, as we are now seeing in Iraq and so on? After depleted uranium weapons was used in Iraq by the US coalition, look at how some of the children are being born there:
We cannot allow a few politicians and generals to make these kinds of decisions for us.
We, the United People of Earth, must recognize Earth as Common Heritage that belongs to all mankind.
It is our home, our only home.
If we do not rise up and put an end to this nuclear madness, our luck may run out.
Governments operate under fear, politicians and generals have to keep huffing and puffing. That is what they do, that is their job. But that job description means they can only escalate this nuclear madness.
Only we, the people, collectively, all over the planet, can awaken and demand an end to nuclear weaponry of any kind, and an end to all the secrecy and aggression.
If we don’t, it is we who would have to live on a desolate, painful planet.
This is not a choice for politicians, it is a choice for the people.
Stand up for what you believe in.
Only we, the people, can enact a nuclear-free planet.
Now, Do You Know What “Nuclear Winter” Is? If Not, You Should Know… It Is A Cloudless Sky, And A Need To Live Underground For The Rest Of Your Life…
First, we need to understand what MAD is:
“Mutual assured destruction or mutually assured destruction (MAD) is a doctrine of military strategy and national security policy in which a full-scale use of nuclear weapons by two or more opposing sides would cause the complete annihilation of both the attacker and the defender. It is based on the theory of deterrence, which holds that the threat of using strong weapons against the enemy prevents the enemy’s use of those same weapons. The strategy is a form of Nash equilibrium in which, once armed, neither side has any incentive to initiate a conflict or to disarm.” – Source: Wikipedia
So… If even one nuke is launched, the default reaction is something called MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction. Within 4 minutes to 12 minutes of a launch, a counter launch happens. And then what?
And then you have Nuclear Winter.
What is that?
I shall quote from the Centre for Research on Globalisation:
“Ten years ago, the world’s leading climatologists chose to reinvestigate the long-term environmental impacts of nuclear war. The peer-reviewed studies they produced are considered to be the most authoritative type of scientific research, which is subjected to criticism by the international scientific community before its final publication in scholarly journals. No serious errors were found in their studies.
Working at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado, the Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers, and the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at UCLA, these scientists used state-of-the-art computer modelling to evaluate the consequences of a range of possible nuclear conflicts. They began with a hypothetical war in Southeast Asia, in which a total of 100 Hiroshima-size atomic bombs were exploded in the cities of India Pakistan. In order to give you a clear idea of what an atomic bomb can do, please consider these images of Hiroshima, before and after the bomb, which had an explosive power of 15,000 tons of TNT.
The detonation of such an atomic bomb will instantly ignite fires over a surface area of 3 to 5 square miles. The scientists calculated that the blast, fire, and radiation from a war fought with 100 atomic bombs could produce as many fatalities as World War II. However, the long-term environmental effects of the war could significantly disrupt the global weather for at least a decade, which would likely result in a vast global famine.
The scientists predicted that nuclear firestorms in the burning cities would cause 3 to 4 million tons of black carbon smoke to quickly rise above cloud level into the stratosphere, where it could not be rained out. The smoke would circle the Earth in less than 2 weeks and would form a global stratospheric smoke layer that would remain for more than a decade. The smoke would absorb warming sunlight, which would heat the smoke to temperatures near the boiling point of water, producing ozone losses of 20% to 50% over populated areas. This would almost double the amount of UV-B reaching the some regions, and it would create UV-B indices unprecedented in human history. In North America and central Europe, the time required to get a painful sunburn at mid-day in June could decrease to as little as six minutes for fair-skinned individuals.
As the smoke layer blocked warming sunlight from reaching the Earth’s surface, it would produce the coldest average surface temperatures in the last 1000 years Medical experts have predicted that the shortening of growing seasons and corresponding decreases in agricultural production could cause up to 2 billion people to perish from famine.
The climatologists also investigated the effects of a nuclear war fought with the vastly more powerful modern thermonuclear weapons possessed by the US, Russia, China, France, and England. Some of the thermonuclear weapons constructed during 1950s and 1960s were 1000 times more powerful than an atomic bomb.
Strategic nuclear weapons produce much larger nuclear firestorms than do atomic bombs. For example, a standard Russian 800 kiloton warhead, on an average day, will ignite fires covering a surface area of 90 to 152 square miles].
A war fought with hundreds or thousands of US and Russian strategic nuclear weapons would ignite immense nuclear firestorms covering land surface areas of many thousands or tens of thousands of square miles.
The scientists calculated that these fires would produce up to 180 million tons of black carbon soot and smoke, which would form a dense, global stratospheric smoke layer. The smoke would remain in the stratosphere for ten to twenty years, and it would block as much as 70% of sunlight from reaching the surface of the Northern Hemisphere and 35% from the Southern Hemisphere. So much sunlight would be blocked by the smoke that the noonday sun would resemble a full moon at midnight.
Under such conditions, it would only require a matter of days or weeks for daily minimum temperatures to fall below freezing in the largest agricultural areas of the Northern Hemisphere. Freezing temperatures would occur every day for a period of between one to three years. Average surface temperatures would become colder than those experienced 18,000 years ago at the height of the last Ice Age, and the prolonged cold would cause average rainfall to decrease by up to 90%. Growing seasons would be completely eliminated for more than a decade; it would be too cold and dark to grow food crops, which would doom the majority of the human population.“
Watch this video, from minute 8:32, to get a very clear, very accurate, very visual idea of what Nuclear Winter really looks and feels like, before it is too late for you to do something about it:
And this one, On the 8th Day – Nuclear Winter Documentary (1984)
This highly scientific, eye-opening yet terrifying one-hour BBC documentary explores the possible ecological and atmospheric consequences of nuclear war, particularly as they would be expressed in a ”Nuclear Winter.” This is a s real as it gets, as detailed as it gets, as scientific as it gets, a “must watch”:
So, now we realise that the question of whether the US or Russia is more right or more wrong is irrelevant.
The right question to ask is…
Do the nukes really protect anyone, or do they assure the destruction of everyone?
Only the United People of Earth can stand up and say no more!
If we remain silent, victory over us by the warmongers is assured.
Listen to this short message on how important this is for you and I to do:
To get a better idea of how extensive the military-industrial complex’s preparations have gone already towards the next world war, watch this address given by John Pilger at the University of Sydney, entitled ‘A World War Has Begun’.
As you can see in that video, the military-industrial complex has been very, very busy!
Now… have you noticed how the news always says, “the US this, the US that…”, yet the people in the US are not informed by their media about any of this?
How can it be “the US” doing all this, when the general US public has no clue its being done?
That is what former Canadian Defence Minister, Paul Hellyer, probably meant when he said “the Cabal has taken over the US government”.
The Cabal’s aims can be seen clearly when one considers these quotes:
“Overgrown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty.” – George Washington, 1st US President
“In time of actual war, great discretionary powers are constantly given to the Executive Magistrate. Constant apprehension of War, has the same tendency to render the head too large for the body. A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty. The means of defence against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Among the Romans it was a standing maxim to excite a war, whenever a revolt was apprehended. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people.” – James Madison. 4th US President
“Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied: and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people. The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and in the degeneracy of manners and of morals, engendered by both. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.” – James Madison. 4th US President
“It is too true, however disgraceful it may be to human nature, that nations in general will make war whenever they have a prospect of getting anything by it; nay, absolute monarchs will often make war when their nations are to get nothing by it, but for the purposes and objects merely personal, such as thirst for military glory, revenge for personal affronts, ambition, or private compacts to aggrandize or support their particular families or partisans. These and a variety of other motives, which affect only the mind of the sovereign, often lead him to engage in wars not sanctified by justice or the voice and interests of his people.” – John Jay, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States
The endless nature of the cold war, and then the Korean and Vietnam wars, and then other wars since then, and lately the war against weapons of mass destruction, and then war on terror, and now a nuclear war … all this is a feature, not a bug.
It is deliberately designed. It is not “just the way the world is” – it is being engineered deliberately.
Unless we say NO MORE, we shall live in an endless war, getting worse and worse and worse.
There’s no question that these “wars” will continue indefinitely.
I quote from a rather interesting blog article…
“The US has long known, and its own studies have emphatically concluded, that “terrorism” is motivated not by a “hatred of our freedoms” but by US policy and aggression in the Muslim world. This causal connection is not news to the US government. Despite this – or, more accurately, because of it – they continue with these policies.
Why would anyone in the US government or its owners have any interest in putting an end to this sham bonanza of power and profit called “the war on terror”? Johnson is right that there must be an end to this war imminently, and Maddow is right that the failure to do so will render all the due-process-free and lawless killing and imprisoning and invading and bombing morally indefensible and historically unforgivable.
But the notion that the US government is even entertaining putting an end to any of this is a pipe dream, and the belief that they even want to is fantasy. They’re preparing for more endless war; their actions are fueling that war; and they continue to reap untold benefits from its continuation. Only outside compulsion, from citizens, can make an end to all of this possible. ” – Source: Washington’s Blog
So as you can see, the world isn’t “just like that” by accident.
It has been DESIGNED that way by an elite few to suit their agenda.
Have a look at the new destructive design being set up behind our backs, without our popular knowledge or agreement as Citizens of Earth, by the military-industrial complex…
Whose planet is this? Yours? Or the military-industrial complex’s? Who will suffer if we allow this madness to continue? You, of course.
The world can be different, beautiful, safe, abundant for all, peaceful, loving, clean – if we the United People of Earth say so.
But if we just sit back, the Cabal’s victory over us is assured.
“You must learn to meet hatred and violence with love. This is not a love that accepts abuse, but one that stands up to it and says, ‘No more will this continue. I refuse to participate in this.’ If there were no more people willing to fight the wars, the wars would end. This is not to blame the soldiers, because they have been trained to do what they do. But this training and the fear behind it must be examined. The false gives rise only to more of the same: Fear gives rise to more fear, and violence to more violence. Actions based on fear cannot bring peace. Such actions cannot end the wars that rage on earth and in the hearts of humankind.” – Gina Lake
